Dear Family Members,
We cordially invite each and every one of you to join us on Saturday June 28th and Sunday, June 29th, 2008 in San Angelo, Texas for the 28th Biennial Reunion of the Hoelscher Buxkemper Family. It will be held at the Wells Fargo Pavilion, 50 East 43rd Street. There are RV Hookups for $20.00 a night available and free parking.
This year we will pay tribute to the veterans of the family that have served in past wars and are currently serving in the military.We would like to get as many names of family members as possible of living and deceased Veterans.Please email Name, Branch, Rank, Unit, War and Years of service to Dottie Frerich ffrerich@suddenlink.net, Patti Decker pdecker@zipnet.us, or Linda Binns quint.binns@verizon.net.Special recognition is planned during the Mass on Sunday morning.We will also have a display area for memorabilia that you might want to bring to show.
The 2008 activities include visiting, meals, dancing, dominoes, and children’s area.There will also be a display area, silent auction, souvenirs, and quilt raffle.We will have hamburgers available Saturday Noon and snacks in the afternoon to purchase.For the display area our historian will have the family scrapbooks but also we will have room to display your old family photos and other mementos. Silent auction items are welcome from all family members.
Bring to the reunion any family information since December 31, 2003 to fill out an update form and turn in to the family representatives.
Enclosed is the schedule of activities, motel/hotel listing and registration form.We stress the importance of PRE-REGISTRATION and PRE-PAYMENT before June 6th, so that we can have enough food, tables, and chairs for your convenience. Changes in reservations must be made by June 15th by phone or e-mail.
